  1. What???!!! You have a book – and I had no idea about…this weekend I shall spend time at your blog and read more of what you have written! Cheers.

    1. Thanks Shaheen! I do indeed, my second novel but first to be published — release date is 31st May. really excited, getting my head into gear now to start some promo and marketing. A lifelong dream come true 🙂

  2. Hi dear Roy. I got only too delighted to find your website. I found out almost all those precious gems i had been seeking for so long a time. I perused every word that you had written about Tao Te Ching. Much to my chagrin, there were only commentary on 48 parts. I’ll be really thankful if you put the remaining parts into your page.

    1. Hi Saber, thanks for your lovely message. I appreciate the kind and supportive message! Glad you enjoyed the Tao posts. I have been on blog hiatus for a bit, but the remaining verses have been written and I will get to posting them on here soon 🙂 thanks for reading!

      1. Thanks a million Roy. I got extremely glad to hear the news of seeing the remaining parts of your commentaries here in no time. I am waiting impatiently to digest the other parts. To be frank, it was around two or three months that I was visiting your website frequently to find out more of your pithy sentences but to no avail. I am pretty aware of the fact that you have been very busy within over the previous months. You have had a big influence on my overall outlook towards the vast universe. It is a really great blessing when one meets a like-minded mind on the course of the road he/she is taking towards oneself.

      2. Wow, thank you Saber, I’m delighted that my site has been of such inspiration to you. I can’t ask for greater feedback than that! 🙂 The past year my blog posts have been quite few and far between, largely due to writing projects, and spending my time studying and introspection. I intend to write more now though and get back into a regular blogging habit. Really glad that I’ve been able to inspire and help you. Thanks so much for the lovely messages – it really does give me the motivation to keep writing and sharing with the world 🙂

  3. While I was going through your posts, in a few parts you had mentioned Vedanta and the particular way it had molded your way of life. If possible, could you please elaborate more on Vedanta? As a matter of fact, Vedanta is something new for me. I’ll be very thankful if you show and open the door towards Vedas for me. How is it possible for me to kick off my journey through Vedanta? Are there any particular books that might open the windows towards this seemingly spectacularly beautiful world of Vedanta?

    1. Vedanta has been an amazing gift to me! I’m so grateful that I finally came across it. I started with my teacher James Swartz’s book ‘How to Attain Enlightenment’, it has a slightly flippant sounding title but it’s an incredible, life-changing book (at least it was for me). It presents a complete overview of the entire teaching. He’s a gifted teacher and unlike most western teachers he is the real deal and not out to make money out of it. His website has a huge amount of free articles, books, and audio, and videos on youtube. His book is something that takes a bit of time to study and digest. He is releasing a new book which covers the same topics but is written in a simpler, easier to read style, called ‘The essence of enlightenment’. I think it will be released quite soon. Another great book for beginners to vedanta is called ‘Advaita made easy’ by Dennis Waite!

I’m also going to be writing a series of articles explaining the teaching step by step in an easy to understand way 🙂

  4. A huge thank to you Roy. I’ll do my best to get the recommended books in no time. I know that they will more than repay the effort of reading them.

    1. You’re most welcome. They are amazing books, great entry points into a sublime teaching/means of liberation that has been kept remarkably pure throughout the centuries…a gift to mankind most definitely 🙂
